Table Rock Lake Vacation

My sister-in-law Amy pulled a quick U-turn on the golf cart and the cooler went flying off and everything spilled onto the cart path. (We weren't even suppose to have a cooler.) And the ice, sandwiches, and bottles of water went flying. Then Amy pulled up to the cooler, jumped off quickly to pick everything up, forgot to put on the brake, and cart hit the cooler again and smashed a sandwich.

Here's a close-up of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich flattened under the golf cart.

My son Dakota didn't like water two months before vacation. We took him to YMCA swim lessons and it made a total difference. By the end of the week of vacation, he was jumping in all by himself, and going down the slide with anyone who would take him.

This is the family posing for a pic after our last dinner of the trip. Note that my glasses were at the bottom of the lake at this point.

I posted some other thoughts on vacation at my other blog. donotfeartruth
